My cannabis journey began with Select, prior to its acquisition with Curaleaf. I was the marketing lead for Nevada, and eventually Arizona and Michigan. After the Curaleaf acquisition, I became the regional marketing director for the west region of the country for both retail (Curaleaf) and wholesale (Select, Blue Kudu) sides of the business. The west region included California, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada and Utah. I built and led a team of 20 brilliant marketers that were functionally responsible for 13 retail locations and 800+ retail partners.
More recently, before launching my fractional business, I spent the last year and a half as the marketing director for Mammoth Distribution / Heavy Hitters where I focused on shopper marketing and promotional revenue strategy, as well as product launch planning, among other things.
To have my own business is a dream come true, and I'm happy to share that Moonbeam Fractional Marketing has been my own little success story for two years and counting! :)
Prior to working in cannabis, I spent time as an innovation strategist for a small P&G-style agency. Our core focus was product & brand invention in the spirits category, but we also worked with several other CPG clients. Notable clients included Diagio, Miller-Coors, Kraft and Rodan + Fields. My final client at this agency was a cannabis company based in Canada, which is how I made the leap into cannabis.
Prior to that, I worked in entertainment marketing in Las Vegas, including Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Brooklyn Bowl and Drai's Nightclub.
And before that, believe it or not... I worked in radio. Yep. Keep the "face for radio" jokes coming.
In addition to some light consulting work, I have been working with a wonderful microdosing company called MCRDSE to help build their marketing function. It feels like this industry is about to move at the pace of cannabis in 2018, and I am buckled in for the ride.
As you can see in my photo, I like to attend Burning Man, where I perform in a symphony group. I also do Crossfit and run quite regularly. When I read, I stick to self-help and marketing books, though I could really use some fiction in my life. Aside from that, you can find me traveling, at a concert or kicking it with friends. Or my cat. Oh, and I still drive a stick shift - you can make fun of me.
Open every day :)
